Each year our club holds three different levels
of retriever trials which are sponsored by the Canadian
Kennel Club. Competitors come from all over Ontario and
the U.S. to compete in our trials.
New comers enjoy the Working Certificate tests
of which we hold four each year.
At Christie's we hold a Hunt Test on Father's Day
weekend and a Field Trial on the Thanksgiving
weekend [see below for dates].
Through the winter months from November to April (on the first
Sunday of the month) we hold training trials
(called picnic trials).
If you have attended the Sportsman's show in Toronto
and watched the Retriever trials, you probably would have
seen many of our members compete for the Gold Whistle.
Spectators are always welcome at our events.
